The WHC Conservation Certification application process has four key steps. They are:
Tier and term length
WHC analyzes application data in order to develop the program tiers. The cutoff scores for tiers apply to all programs that applied during that calendar year. The tiers determine the term length of a program’s certification.
A program’s certification ends upon the request of an organization or when a program’s certification term ends and no application is received by WHC (application submitted online and all fees paid). Applications that are due in any given calendar year must be received by midnight Eastern Standard Time on December 31.
WHC may change project and program requirements.
